Andy Duguid – On The Edge

On The EdgeLooking for something a bit more edgy? Andy Duguid has put together an album that may be just what you’ve been looking for. With some unique sounds from the underground Andy presents his new artist album: On The Edge. The follow up to his 2008’s Believe is ready to hit digital storefronts September 16th on Black Hole Recordings.

The album is already getting rave reviews from some leading publications. MIXMAG chose On The Edge as their album of the month, saying: “Production-wise every one of ‘O.T.E’s tracks gleam with a lavished, intensive, almost OCD studio attention. The vocals crush the wonk-wonk tropes of commercial trance soundly under-heel and unusual, attention-grab track trajectories appear when you least expect them. Some fresh air has been breathed here… Every one of ‘On The Edge’s tracks gleam with a lavished, intensive, almost OCD production attention. The vocals crush the wonk-wonk tropes of commercial trance soundly under-heel and unusual, attention-grab track trajectories appear when you least expect them. Some fresh air has been breathed here.

Here’s what Andy had to say about the album: “My thought process before heading to the studio on day one of making this album was simple. Don’t rush it. Be inspired. And be me. I was coming off the back of my fair share of tragedy so it was certain emotion would play a major role in its making. Every track on this album has it’s own back-story and I think every story deserves the perfect soundtrack.

On The Edge features some great tunes from Andy along with vocal features from the likes of Seri, Shannon Hurley, Julie Thompson, Jaren and Audrey Gallagher. You can get your copy here.
